Getting started
Joining a new company with all its systems and processes can feel overwhelming. That’s why we make sure there’s always a colleague available to serve as your personal onboarding buddy. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and to make suggestions on anything that could be improved or reconsidered.
Based on your position you’ll be invited to a number of systems you need to use at Infound. We will set up an onboarding space where you’ll find more information and some checklists to go through.
Meet your team
Most of us are either designers or programmers, or both. To share updates and important references and inspirational content, we’ve got community spaces for every team.
What to work on?
Whether you’re assigned a new project or joining an existing one, we encourage you to be proactive, pitch new ideas and suggest new projects. We will always try to avoid packing your schedule with assignments in order to leave room for open discussions about areas or projects, where you feel you can make a significant contribution.
How often to check your inboxes?
In order to optimizing for creative flow, we strongly recommend turning off push notifications and alerts for Basecamp and email. Nevertheless, we require you to view unread notifications on Basecamp and check your emails about once or twice a day — at least once every other day.
What if there’s an emergency on a client website or web-app? As part of our service level agreements with several clients we provide online forms for submitting support requests. Whenever a new request is marked as “very critical” a text message is immediately sent to the developer and the project manager in charge of that client or system.
Subscribe to your schedule
In order to have upcoming meetings and due dates automatically show up in your personal calendar go subscribe to “My Schedule” on Basecamp.
Follow our instructions on data security and privacy
You’ll receive a copy of our technical and organizational measures for data security and privacy. Please read it carefully and go through the corresponding checklist in your onboarding project.
